The name ‘Muffin’ either comes from the French word ‘moufflet’ meaning a soft bread, or from the German word ‘muffe’ which is the name for a type of cake. In 1970 Frank Brady opened a small diner in Seattle. His home baked muffins soon became a firm favourite with his customers, Moms and school kids queued for his muffins hot from the oven. Realising he had a winner, he perfected his recipe and established a thriving “eat as you go” franchise. In 1998 Frank Brady arrived in South Africa and took our local market by storm. Convenient, great tasting and available almost everywhere. Is it any wonder that South Africans now eat more than 293 million muffins each year?

Cheryl is the National Sales Manager, with extensive retail experience, main focus is corporate retail. Well known in the world of retail, Cheryl is a keen walker, a fanatical ‘Boks’ supporter has worked with and for Frank Brady for more than ten years.
Payroll, HR ,Key accounts administration. Also a ten year veteran Mandy joined Frank Brady from a totally diverse working environment and over her service period has always eagerly grasped the ramifications of our industry in terms of good business practice, right first time and whatever it takes philosophy. A keen gym bunny and proud mother of two fine sons.
Debtors,Creditors, Logistical Administration. Rekha is totally competent in her areas of operation, always able to ‘make a plan’, forms solid business relationships based on the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth and after nearly eight years of service to our clients is well respected. The mother of a delightful son, she perceives herself a road driver of note!
Length of service 10 eventful years; Glorias has worked his way through the ranks of Frank Brady to rightfully earn the position of factory manager. He has developed notable interpersonal skills and is well respected throughout the industry, he is a man for all seasons. Rarely phased, ‘Glory’ will always find a workable solution to any situation
Assistant Factory Manager
Shantell’s responsibilities include the management of Food Safety (HACCP) and ISO control and Assistant Factory manager. It has been a delight to watch the growth and commitment in the nine years that she has been with Frank Brady. Shanty is passionate about her job and enjoys the daily challenges whether they be ‘good or not so good’. She’s always looking for personal growth opportunity and her attitude is “bring it on”.
